New IrriRT 2.3

Irriworks is pleased to announce the release of IrriRT 2.3, the latest version of the professional software for designing irrigation systems for gardens, urban green spaces, parks, sports areas and residential areas.

IrriRT 2.3 introduces a series of improvements, new features and a further refined technical foundation, to support landscape technicians, agronomists, engineers and designers in creating reliable and high-performance irrigation systems.

Design and Interface

  • New window for editing colors for shifts.

  • Updated graphic library for geometric calculation (more advanced management of concave polygonal shapes)

  • Uniform sprinkler layout with orderly arrangement of laterals and headers in sectors belonging to the same plot.

  • Lasso selection to manipulate free groupings with dynamic filters.

  • Regular grid with snap: precise and orderly positioning of sprinklers.

  • New terrain merging function
  • Improved thematic map visualization: faster switching between data editing and results anchored to the same grid.

Hydraulic Calculation and Performance

  • Improved performance in drawing and calculation, with significant velocity increases.

  • Head losses revision for connections and fittings with different evaluation for online and branch paths. Improved estimation for T-connections, crosses, single and double brackets.

Import/Export and Compatibility

  • Advanced import of KML/KMZ and DXF, with automatic recognition of the main link (colored in blue).
  • Support for complex geometries and greater interoperability with Google Earth.
  • Integrated PDF export with satellite background images and greater path details.

Database and Element Groups

  • Advanced connection management with the ability to insert element groups
  • Ability to extend the defined block to all connections of the same type
  • New Aster database

  • Irritec database update
  • New policy and terms of use: limited duration of 12 months from first activation for the Google Maps survey service
  • Fixed serious bug in hydraulic calculation of common drippers
