We are excited to announce the launch of IrriPro 5.0, packed with advanced features and a complete ecosystem of tools to retrofit design, calculation, and management of irrigation plants.
This version represents the biggest advancement ever made in IrriPro. After a long development effort, more extensive than that of previous versions, IrriPro 5.0 introduces a wide range of new features, services and substantial improvements.
The software is now able to better meet the needs of experienced professionals, offering advanced tools and complete customization options, as well as less experienced users, thanks to fully automated processes that guide the design with intelligent agronomic, hydraulic, and geometric evaluations. Complete, flexible, and professional support to quickly obtain a precise, ready-to-use project.
Please note that in the download area, you can download the installer version, which once activated will use the purchased license.
Carver AI: Intelligent Design
The introduction of Carver AI brings artificial intelligence directly into the software:
Guided selection of crop, terrain type, and geographical context.
Automatic sizing of sectors, spacing, pipes, and guided emitter selection.
Automatic shift assignment based on flow rate constraints.
More info
Additionally with Carver AI:
- Regular grid division of the terrain with automatic residual compensation
- Automatic management of grouping one or more sectors per shift to respect the available flow rate
- Recognition of pre-existing subdivision for sector and shift organization
Hydraulic Calculation and Performance
Improved performance in drawing and calculation, with significant velocity increases.
Automatic calculation of maximum lateral length
Elastic discretization for greater sector coverage and better overlap between plants.
Head losses revision for connections and fittings with different evaluation for online and branch paths.
Automatic Drawing of the Main Link
An algorithm evaluates minimum distances and plant orientation, automatically tracing the entire path of main links from the source to reach all individual sectors. With this new function, all types of links can be automatically drawn by the system.
Design and Interface
Function for complete automatic drawing: optimized tracing of main and secondary links.
- Implemented symbolic network visualization (with lateral direction): beyond certain zoom levels to speed up drawing and zoom, pan, movement operations
- New function for plot division according to a regular grid
- Updated graphic library for geometric calculation (more advanced management of concave polygonal shapes)
Uniform sprinkler layout with orderly arrangement of laterals and headers in sectors belonging to the same plot.
Lasso selection to manipulate free groupings with dynamic filters.
Regular grid with snap: precise and orderly positioning of sprinklers.
- New terrain merging function
More info
- Large plants: intelligent management of sector drawing, streamlined work area, all for significantly faster drawing and calculation
- Automatic grid and related snap: activating the command displays an extended grid throughout the plot corresponding to the position of emitter devices, which can be used for drawing, positioning, and manual node movement with grid snapping support.
Import/Export and Compatibility
- Advanced import of KML/KMZ and DXF, with automatic recognition of the main link (colored in blue).
- Support for complex geometries and greater interoperability with Google Earth.
- Integrated PDF export with satellite background images and greater path details.
Database and Element Groups
- Advanced connection management with the ability to insert element groups
- Ability to extend the defined block to all connections of the same type
- New Aster database
- New ATP database
- Irritec database update
Further advancements and fixes
- Wizard revision and reorganization of data input procedure, from options for inserting filters, valves, and pressure reducers for each sector, to automatic or manual main link tracing, to plot subdivision
- Optimized thematic map display to speed up representation and window switching.
- Automatic shift insertion (initialized by the system)
- Corrected alignment between devices for optimal overlap between coverage areas of sprinklers in adjacent sectors and between laterals
- Ability to indicate the main node from which to feed the sector (with consequent header arrangement) during the wizard
- Fixed serious bug in hydraulic calculation of common drippers
- Improved reliability in loading Kml/Kmz files
- Bug fixings
