Plant near Soriano (Lazio) on approximately 45 hectares of land with power from a well. The plants have a planting space of 5 x 4 metres. A requirement of 20 litres/day per plant has been estimated (with 1 supply per week).
An 8 liters/hour self-compensating online dripper (with two dispensers per plant) was used for the system, partly in sub-irrigation. The diameters of the pipelines vary from 110 mm (for the main pipelines) to 16 mm (for the lateral pipelines). Below are the results of the simulations:
The project started from the evaluation of the existing system (with partial coverage of the area to be irrigated), to define the improvements to it and the integration with a new system (for 25 new hectares) in order to obtain homogeneous quality and uniform in delivery
