Irrigation system for a garden in Lombardy
The system is located in the city of Brescia (Lombardy) and irrigates turf, perimeter hedges, oleanders and terraces with shrubs. The power supply comes from the aqueduct with a small flow rate which required the system to be divided into a greater number of shifts.
The Project
The garden land is divided into several terraces at different heights which required careful hydraulic verification. Drip lines of 2 litres/hour and a pitch of 0.4 meters were used for the hedges, dynamic pop-ups with a range of 4.8, 2.4 meters and static pop-ups of 1.5 meters.
The graphic and hydraulic results for the various shifts: the coverage of the pop-ups and the irrigation of the hedges.
Project Objective
Increase the number of shifts and use devices that are not very demanding on flow rate in order to complete coverage despite having little flow rate at the source
