Irriworks receives recognition at EIMA 2024 for the innovation of its IrriPro product

Eima 2024 Innovation Mention

Featured for “Carver AI”, an artificial intelligence tool designed to optimize the design and management of irrigation systems.

What is the innovation : The solution provides design suggestions for a specific crop irrigation system, including emitter flow rates, pipe sizes, water requirements and more, based on user-provided data such as plant layout, row spacing, water availability. Compared to other software solutions, the integration with artificial intelligence allows for continuous improvement and multiple possible suggestions from the same inputs.

Expected benefits : greater flexibility and ease of use.

CarverAI’s strength is its seamless integration with ChatGPT, which enhances its ability to provide intelligent insights based on user input. When users enter data into IrriPro, CarverAI uses ChatGPT’s advanced language processing capabilities to analyze this data and generate personalized recommendations. This dynamic interaction between user input and AI-based analysis ensures that the insights provided are highly relevant and specific to each project’s unique conditions. Users enter parameters such as plant layout, row spacing, water capacity, geographic location, and soil texture, and CarverAI then processes this information to provide optimized irrigation system configurations, including emitter flow rates, pipe diameters, nominal and maximum pressures, and emitter spacing.

A particularly innovative aspect of CarverAI is its ability to continuously enrich itself through the data entered into the IrriPro database. The more companies contribute specific information about their systems, the greater the variety and precision of the solutions that CarverAI can offer. This wealth of data allows the software to better adapt to different agricultural needs. This adaptability is a significant advantage over more rigid and less intelligent systems, giving users the flexibility to effectively manage a wide range of agricultural scenarios.

Benefits with Carver AI:

  • Water distribution based on specific crop needs
  • Ability for users to evaluate various design options to find the optimal solution
  • Accessibility for less experienced users: intuitive interface and guided choices
  • Error Reduction: CarverAI Helps Prevent Bad Design Decisions
  • Guided evaluation in the choice of dispensing devices
  • Automatic pipe sizing
  • Evaluations of specific choices and learning capacity for future evaluations
  • Reduction of operating costs and waste of resources
  • Reducing environmental impact and safeguarding natural resources
  • Increased crop productivity
Since 1986, FederUnacoma has promoted, during EIMA, a Competition to reward and enhance the innovative products proposed by the industry in the sector to serve increasingly cutting-edge agricultural and gardening activities in terms of production quality, safety and environmental sustainability.
This year, approximately 170 requests were submitted to participate in the competition, of which 20 were awarded as Technical Innovations and 48 as Mentions.
