Irriworks, driven by the growing awareness of the optimization of irrigation resources and the need for more advanced technological tools for agriculture, was born in April 2006 from an idea of ​​a group of young and dynamic researchers and expert professionals working in the field of university research and liberal professions.

The company, sensitive to water and energy saving issues, offers advanced technological tools and services applied to agriculture. In particular, our mission is to spread the culture of proper design, the only means to achieve the best quality irrigation. The world of professionals today demands increasingly powerful and fast tools for more complete and accurate results. Irriworks provides them with new applications and services for agriculture, starting with irrigation.

Irriworks is made up of a group of expert professionals in the engineering, IT and agronomic fields, coming from the university research and technical consultancy sector. Our products are the fruit of applied research within the University of Palermo (Department of Hydraulics of the Faculty of Agriculture) and the result of the continuous innovation that distinguishes us, with the aim of creating tools and services applied to hydraulics and agriculture.

MISSION

To market and widely disseminate the most advanced tool for designing irrigation systems in a way that enables:

  • To those who use it to take irrigation everywhere and ensure quality where before there was no certainty of results;
  • Companies to improve their products and create new product lines;
  • For farmers to pursue sustainable agriculture (water and nutrients saving) to increase the quality and quantity of agricultural production and thus increase profit margins.

In addition, the company aims to train a new, specialized and independent professional figure who is exclusively concerned with design.
