Have been published in May the first 259 selected innovations that will take part in the project "Italy of Innovators. " The number of selected innovations compared with those proposed (about 3000) shows the high quality of the state of innovation in Italy. The project "Italy of Innovators" was sponsored by the Ministry of Public Administration and Innovation and picks the best innovations developed and manufactured in Italy able to represent our country in the world during international events (such as the Shanghai World Expo 2010). The next scheduled institutional missions planned in 2011 are:

- China (19-23 September);

- Russia (October, dates to be determined).

The "Italy of Innovators" includes the organization of high-level meetings between the participants and the main institutions and business organizations in China and Russia in order to promote awareness of Italian innovations at an audience of decision makers that can appreciate, qualify and valorize the innovations presented.

Exhibitions and events will tell the Italian innovation, past and present, highlighting the vitality of cultural, scientific and technological base of our country thanks to the selected companies. We recall that back in 2010, during the universal exhibition, we have been awarded "Selected Innovator Expo Shanghai 2010"
