In which OS can I install IrriPro?
It is currently installable on all Windows systems up to Windows 7. Compatibility with Windows 8 in the test phase. Even if not available to the public, IrriPro can be configured to be installed on Mac and Linux systems.
I purchased a license. How do I activate the software?
Which version of IrriPro should I use?
Just download and use the FREEWARE version that after activation via the serial code provided with the license, takes the credentials of the commercial version. Through the use of serial the user activates the application in a different way depending on the purchased license. There is no hardware key but an alphanumeric code that is provided automatically and in real time with the effective purchasing of the license and can be used in multiple PCs (according to the Irriworks license terms). What languages are available for IrriPro?
Actually Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
How reliable is the survey with Google Earth/Maps within IrriPro?
Normally, the technician uses topographic maps 1:10,000 or (less accuracy) points out in the field with a GPS only the planimetric positions of the vertices of the terrain where to install the system. Depending on the area detected by the Google service the accuracy of the altimetric data varies from 3 arc-second (1 point detected every 90 meters) to 1/3 arc-second (1 point detected every 10 meters), up to reach 1 / 9 arc-seconds in the U.S. and in many urban areas (1 point detected every 3 meters). Processing elevation and planimetric returned in IrriPro is equivalent to a 1:5000 cartography (as error on elevation) and the Google service gets better every day more. Remember that the Google GIS service is already used successfully by design programs of civilian infrastructure (such as Autodesk Civil 3D) and various topographic maps.
Entering the editor, I do not see the source (supply node) system. Where is it?
The source is given by the system at coordinates X = 0 and Y = 0. Through the functionality of moving or dragging, you may locate the source where you want.
Which forms of sector / s can be drawn?
The automatic drawing of the network within a sector can be run on a wide variety of forms:
- Known shapes (rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, etc..) where the user will have to declare the geometrical dimensions
- Generic forms where the user manually draw the shape (whatever it is) directly in the editor. Currently there are no systems with laterals/rows that are not straight.
What are the characteristics of the IrriPro database?
The flexible asset management allows the insertion and modification of network elements, bringing with them their characteristics for each product. These data can be managed by IrriPro for the calculation (using the hydraulic and geometric data of the products), for the preparation of bill of materials and for all the projects that will be created.
What are the operational limits of IrirPro?
Currently IrriPro allows the design and calculation of a network with more than 100,000 emitters and a survey with Google Earth up to 600 Ha. These limits may be extensible (on request) in accordance with the needs of the user and the computing power of the used hardware.

There is an user manual of IrriPro in English?
No, there is currently only in Italian, but it is taking steps in its preparation. Soon it will be available in the "Support and Guide" area of the site.
What kind of support will I receive once I have purchased a license?
The IrriPro software can be purchased only with a license for an indefinite period?
No, there are some timed licenses to meet the need of the user who has to deal from time to time of designing installations.
Which licenses are planned for IrriPro?
Currently, two kinds of licenses are available: life-time or top-up. This last one can be chosen with a variable duration from 10 days to 1 year. To purchase multiple licenses at the same time it is recommended the Corporate version. For students and teachers there will be an Educational version (free for students). What is the difference between a CAD program and IrriPro?
In IrriPro, thanks to the INDO technology (Irrigation Network Data Object) developed by Irriworks, it is possible to draw the elements of a system (emitters, pipes, etc..) and of the ground not only as lines and dots but objects containing hydraulic characteristics, geometries, materials and GIS information. Any modifications, additions, deletions will take effect on the calculation, and all the works of IrriPro. If we introduce or modify a component of the system in the editor (such as adding or removing elements, or just changing the pattern of a pipe), this intervention not only will result in the change of the graphical representation of the same, but will affect the hydraulic calculation, the bill of materials and the results obtained for the entire installation. In traditional CAD softwares, elements are only graphics and their function on the editor is only for representation. If new elements are introduced they will not be considered if not through a procedure of manual assignment. These graphics will not even functional to the automatic definition of the bill of materials, except through a manual valuation. The element, in any case, will not interact in any way with the rest of the elements of the system.
Which are the real peculiarities of IrriPro?
The simplicity of use and functional testing of the system. Takes a few minutes to learn, through the explanatory video, how to draw and design the first system, even for users who are not very familiar with CAD tools. A plant can be verified, in the quality of functioning, before it is realized. A very advanced algorithm, contained within IrriPro, allows a very rigorous hydraulic calculation that evaluates the behavior of the system at each point and the quality of irrigation obtained.
